PERSONALITY; Hizumi is not, by any means, friendly, gentle or caring. Other people seem useless- he considers the entire human race useless, having an extreme distaste for life as whole. He likes very few people he meets and is generally disagreeable, prefers to be left alone but can hold a civil conversation up to a point. He has extreme anger issues- he is quiet one moment and explosive the next, He feels everyone is stupider than he is and that he isn't really all that smart himself. He uses self injury (mostly burning, cutting, self brusing) as a means of feeling, reminding himself that his existence is, while unfortunate, true.

He is addicted to heat, pain, and watching something burn, burn, burn, become a state of destruction, including himself.

Hizumi hates sleeping because it makes a person vulnerable to their own mind. He stays up for days at a time, always tired but refusing to sleep until he literally cannot keep his eyes open. Generally, he tries to stay ignorant, hoping to discover as little about people as possible. No questions, no answers.

About anything.

He has an obsession with the apocalypse and endings as a whole, preferring to keep conversations short just so he can watch the end of something. A relationship, a life, his life- it's not that he's suicidal; he just doesn't want to live anymore.

MENTAL DISORDER; Pyromania; Borderline Personality Disorder [Undiagnosed]

HISTORY; Hizumi was born out of wedlock, bitchy and antisocial from the moment his mother pushed him out of herself and every second after. She gave him up for adoption when he was two because she couldn’t handle a child anymore, especially one so difficult, and he was taken in by various families until they could no longer handle him, either. He watched his foster parents use a gas oven, interested in the bright glow and the heat, and soon became obsessed with doing so.

By the time he was 10, 4 foster houses later, he learned to set paper on fire using lighters and would watch it burn until the fire almost got to his fingertips on a regular basis. He started cutting and intentionally burning himself at age 13 and was soon sent to a new house with people who intentionally took care of “troubled teens”.

He hated him; they loved him because they were simply like that, but he was intensely difficult, more and more so every day, driving them and himself insane in the process. He couldn’t find their breaking point, spent years trying to do so, until at 15, he burned down their house, and that was when they finally gave up.

They decided not to charge Hizumi with arson, instead deeming him certifiably insane and putting him in a mental hospital where he hated everyone and they all hated him, doctors, nurses and patients alike. He was notorious for being impossible to put up with, as he would go from calm hatred to extreme rage in a split second, becoming violent with himself and anyone who came across him.

Eventually, even the mental hospitals he was put in didn’t want him any more.

Except for 304 Asylum, who will take even the most impossible people who come knocking on their door.
